A Cheats Way To Pastry's // FOOD

Do you ever just have those mornings where you think "Oh, I could go a cinnamon roll or maybe a chocolate croissant" but you don't have pre-bought pastry's in the house? And making them from scratch - you know, making the dough - is just way too much effort plus by the time they're actually ready it's lunchtime.
Well, there is a way to make them within, roughly, 20 minutes!

JUS-ROL

You may have seen these kicking about your local supermarket. Maybe you've already tried them. I love them. Tasty. Easy to make. Amazing breakfast food.

PAIN AU CHOCOLAT

What You Need:

★ JUS-ROL Pain Au Chocolat Bake It Fresh!
★ Baking Tray
★ Grease Proof/Baking Paper

Method:

1. Get your dough. Pull the red tab down the left of the white tube/can. Twist the can. HEY PRESTO dough's out

2. Unroll the dough and follow the perforations to separate it into pieces

3. Once you have a piece rolled out. Grab two sticks of chocolate and place at each end of the dough

4. Roll both ends in and place seam side down on the baking tray

5. Spread all the croissants out evenly and pop in the oven for 12 minutes (or until golden brown) at 200℃ (180℃ fan assisted)/ Gas Mark 6.

CINNAMON SWIRLS/ROLLS

What You Need:

★ JUS-ROL Cinnamon Swirls Bake It Fresh!
★Baking Tray
★Grease Proof/Baking Paper
★ Extra Icing Sugar (Maybe)

Method:

1. The exact same as the previous. Get the dough. Pull the red tab down the left of the white tube/can. There's your dough

2. Cut the dough into equal pieces. The packet says to use a knife BUT I've found using a piece of string or thread (cleaned of course) is a lot easier as it gives you a clean cut

3. Spread the slices out evenly and pop in the oven for 14 minutes (or until golden brown) at 200℃ (180℃ fan assisted)/Gas Mark 6.

4. As they are in the oven you can make up the icing sugar. Empty the pot of icing sugar into a bowl and add, roughly, 1-1¹/₂ teaspoons of water. Stir well to separate all the lumps

5. Allow your cinnamon swirls to cool down and then drizzle the icing sugar over the top of them.

And you're done!

Let us know if you've ever tried JUS-ROL.
Any other suggestions on what we could bake?
