It happens. The bad day. Nothing goes right, you've not had enough sleep, it's THAT time of the month and everyone is just being annoying.
The internet is full of ideas for overcoming a bad day. The top 3 suggestions seem to be:
1. Yoga
2. Bath
3. Exercise
And while for some people these ideas might be great, the only one I want to do after a bad day is have a bath. So today I thought I would share a few of the slightly less predictable ways I try to turn a bad day around.
I know Bekah shared her de-stress methods a couple of weeks back but I'm thinking this would be more of an addition than an instead of kinda post! You get me?

You know those books you read and loved as a child? Read them again! They're so familiar you barely have to concentrate and the characters can be like old friends.

It's Okay To Moan

It's Okay To Moan
Text your best friend, your sister, your boyfriend or even write that moany tweet. As long as you are saving this option for the truly bad day then this is a viable option. Having someone else telling you that it's okay that you're upset or just moaning along with you can be more helpful than you would think
Blanket, hot water bottle, bed and Netflix
It is A-Okay to ignore the world for a day or an evening. Just don't make it a life commitment. Or if you've had a really really bad day..make a fort.
Go Swimming
We along with a couple of friends have started going swimming once a week and it's seriously reducing my stress levels. Give it a go.
Unless you don't like tea then feel free to drink another hot beverage of your choosing. But seriously, grab a cup of tea and curl up with a book or go out for afternoon tea with a friend.
What are some of your favourite ways to de-stress after a bad day?
