I'm going to start this off by saying I hate running. Even when I was fit and could run a decent way I still didn't enjoying it.
I'm hoping that this time will be different and the magical running switch in my head will flick and I will become someone who finds running relaxing.
Some of you might know that each month I give myself a challenge to work on everyday that month.
In January I worked on becoming a morning person.
In February I did daily scripture writing
In March I aimed to read more.
In April I'm running.
Initially I was going to do a 30 day running challenge which I set up in my Bullet Journal (here) but that soon developed into attempting the couch to 5k challenge.
There were several reasons for this - Couch to 5k doesn't make me run everyday, there's an app that will talk me through it and being able to run 5k is something to aim for rather than just running aimlessly.
I thought it might be good (and might make me keep going) if I keep myself accountable to you guys. So, every week I'm going to post an update about how I'm getting on. If any one out there want's to join in then let me know and we can struggle and sweat together!!
So here goes, wish me luck, see you in a weeks time when I'll probably have broken an ankle and fallen in the canal I'm going to run along!!
