New Music | April

I am a massive lover of music. I love finding new music and sharing it with people just to see if they like it (and if they say no then I truly believe they have no taste).

Kate and I are constantly telling each other about new songs we've heard and will constantly send links to each other or put it on in the car while driving somewhere. 

We've both got quite a mixed taste in music which I quite like because it means we're more open to new songs of any genre. 

I've decided that each month I will post about the new songs we've been listening to, whether they're in the charts or just random finds. I'll give you my top 5 and why and will also link our Spotify as I'll be creating New Music | *Month* playlists to go alongside the posts.

1. No Money | Galantis

I think this will be a big summer tune! It's upbeat, has a good vibe and just makes you wanna dance (not that I'm any good). 

2. Let the Games Begin | AJR

This is one that Kate introduced me to. You can move a little to it, the beats pretty good. Plus, it has a fanfare at the beginning of it #hellogoodsong

3. Bad Girls | MKTO

Again, another that Kate introduced me to. For some reason this song makes me go "Yes! I'm a strong independent woman who could kick anyone's butt" which is totally not what this song is about. But either way it's got a good rhythm. 

4. I'm Born To Run | American Authors 

I just love American Authors really. I quite often sing a long to this song in my car, it has a good beat going for it. A really upbeat song. 

5. Surrender | Natalie Taylor

OMG! I love this song. I heard in an episode of 'Jane the Virgin' and was like 'find, add to playlist, listen all day everyday'. It has this sort of romantic, airy fairy vibe. I can't describe it. Just listen to it, you'll love it. 

So that's my top 5. Have a look at the rest of the songs in our playlist for this month. They're all pretty good if I do say so myself. I'll constantly be adding new songs to it and hopefully Kate will to ... I'll pressure her into it.
