Book Haul // What I'm Reading

So I once again fell into the trap that is Waterstones bookshop and once again books flew off the shelf into my arms and I found myself at the checkout forking out money for some more books. Woops!

But since this disaster had already happened and the damage was done I figured I would show you what I picked up!

The Hourglass Factory - Lucy Ribchester
The mysterious disappearance of Ebony Diamond leads Frankie George into a whole new world: newsrooms, circus freaks, society columns and suffragette head quarters.

Way Down Dark - JP Smith
This is a young adult dystopian novel. Can's ancestors left a dying earth on a ship and generations later they're still on that ship. The ship is full of murderers. cults and gangs, is there a way to escape?

The Uncommoners (The Crooked Sixpence) - Jennifer Bell
Ivy and Seb Sparrow get lost in the extraordinary world of Lundinor where ordinary objects have amazing powers and nothing is quite as it seems.

A Very Special Year - Thomas Montasser
Valerie's Aunt goes missing and Valerie is left to look after her bookshop. An initial plan to liquidate the bookshop turns into a genuine love of the shop and it's customers. But without a bit of magic what story is there to tell.

I Call Myself A Feminist
This is a book written by twenty-five different woman under thirty all describing feminism from their perspectives. I think it will be interesting to hear different ways of looking at Feminism and see the opinions of people who look at things very differently than me.

I can't wait to get stuck into these books and let you all know what I think of them.
Have you bought any books recently? Any recommendations? Let us know @SimplyKarah10
