I am a sucker for trying different beauty regimes. And when I say sucker I mean, I ridiculously over spend because I never stick to one thing and try it out for so long.
I recently saw an ad pop up on my Facebook for this company called "Face Theory". I'm never one to be drawn in to Facebook ads but something about this just caught my attention.
I did some researching about the company - y'know, making sure they're legit - and found that people who had used the skincare brand all seemed to really love it.
I'm trying my absolute best to stick with just this as my cleansing and moisturizing routine. Not trying to put too much on my skin, keep it fresh.
And oh my days!!! This stuff is completely saving my skin and clearing all my break outs.
I started the routine a couple weeks ago and within the first week I started noticing results. It's the best my skin has looked in a LONG time.
So, how does it work?
When you go onto the "Face Theory" site you can either browse through their range or you can do a quick 'quiz' about your skin which results in them telling you what the best products are to use on your skin. You can choose to delete products that you don't think you need or, like I did, just shove it all into your basket.
I took the quiz because sometimes I feel I'm never really putting the right stuff on my skin. I sometimes feel as though I'm just damaging it more.
What did I get?
Signature Cream Cleanser and Make-Up Remover C1
This cleanser is for all skin types. I think I read on the back of the packaging that you should really only use it every second day (that may have been a different product, I really can't remember). But anyhoo, I use this while I'm in the shower. Every. Second. Day. Or at least I try. I love it! It's so creamy and smooth. It's got Apricot, Avacado and Coconut in it (how healthy) and is meant to have a Mandarin scent to it but I think it smells a little but baby-lotion-esk, that doesn't put me off though.
I think this is what's saved my skin.
Rejuvenating Moisturiser M2
This moisturiser is for dry and sensitive skin. Something that my face has suffered from for years.
This also has a very creamy, smooth texture to it. And, whether this defeats the purpose or not, it is a great "primer", shall we say, before you apply foundation. I don't know whether it's because it has a thick base to it or not but my moisturiser just seems to flow on quite easily and sparingly.
This one has Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Argan Oil in it, and also has a Mandarin scent.
Relaxing Night Cream M10
This cream, believe it or not, actually states it's an anti-aging cream, will reduce wrinkles, and firms and plumps your skin. Now, I'm 23 and at this age I feel my skin shouldn't really need an anti-aging cream. However, this was the recommended product that fit in with my regime and it works. This feels so nice on your face once all your makeup's been taken off and your head hits the pillow. It just has a really relaxing feeling to it.
It's another that has Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Argan Oil. This one has a lavender scent. It's a very strong and powerful scent, I won't lie. I suppose, though, lavender is one of those scents that makes you very sleepy and relaxed (whether you like the smell or not).
Tendertouch Bamboo Cloth
This comes in a pack of three and it's 100% organic bamboo. These are the SOFTEST face clothes I have ever used. My skin is very sensitive so using face clothes that have a slightly rough feeling to them makes my skin dryer than it already is. I've, also, ran these clothes a few times through the wash and they're still as soft as they were when I took them out the package.
I really do recommend that you give FaceTheory a bash!
It's fairly priced. I think all of this, for me, came to £31. Bare in mind I did have a 20% discount code, but it only took about £7 of the price. Still a pretty good amount for 4 products that truly work.
Have you ever tried FaceTheory?
