BLOGMAS DAY 5 // Stocking Fillers Under £5

Christmas can be so expensive, this year the two of us at Simply Karah have never been so broke. Graduate life eh?! So, taking this into account we've decided to make a gift guide post with only items that cost £5 or under!

The first place we went a looking was Not On The High Street, there was TONNES of cute things that were under a fiver. These are our favourites..

1. Concrete Heart Pot - This is £5 so the top of the budget but it's so cute! You (or the person you give it to) could use it for jewellery, those ever disappearing kirby grips and bobbles or just bits and bobs.
2. Initial Paper Clip - £2 for four. I think I would use these as bookmarks but they could just be a cute little thing to add to a present.
3. Colour Changing Light Up Mood Bath Duck (seriously that's the name on the website) - £4.95, but it's pretty and colourful and would make baths so much more fun.
4. Earl Grey Tea Lip Balm - £3.25, If the person you're buying for likes tea and uses lipbalm then what's not to love!?

The next site we explored was Sass and Belle, this is one of our favourite places to look for gifts.

1. A Little Book for Big Ideas Vintage Map Notebook - £2
2. Enjoy the Little Things Badger On Bike Tin - £3.50, this will look super cute on a shelf or chest of drawers, you could also add a little piece of jewellery in it too.
3. Be Strong Bear Tribal Adventure Plaque - £3.50, maybe not the most useful of items but I would be impressed if I got this as a present.
4. Mix and Match Bohemian Egg Cups - £3.50, perfect for a student who's moved out of their parents for the first time or someone who's just moved house, these are adorable.

Asos has a suprisingly good collection of gifts and a good number of them are also reasonably priced!

1. Christmas Tree Socks - £5, they're cheesy and bright and these aren't the only design available (here)
2. Tattoo Pens - £4.99, this looks like it would be amazing, I'm so tempted to buy these for my sister just so I can have a go.
3. Milkshake sharpener and pencil - £5, IT'S A SHARPENER AND PENCIL but it looks like a milkshake. This is fabulous and I want it, it's the kind of thing you would never use but it would look amazing on your desk.
4. A6 Clothbound Rice Krispies Notebook - £4.99, what better place could there possibly be to right shopping lists than a cereal box notebook?

Tiger is another really good shop for bits and pieces you didn't realise existed until you see them and just HAVE to buy them!

1. Shot Glass - £1, these are so unique and different from any shot glasses I've ever seen and I love them.
2. Build Yourself A Straw - £2, this looks like so much fun, sometimes childish is good!
3. Melody Box - £2, my Dad used to have one of these and I loved it. It's so stylish and for £2 you can't really go wrong.
4. Light Chain With 10 Metal Shades - £5, fairy lights are a must have, these are perfect for those people who like a bit more colour in their lives.

And last but not least, the one and only Paperchase. I flipping love this shop!

1. Scratch and Sniff Watermelon Nail Wraps - £5, not very festive but they could be saved until the summer and your friends could have beautiful (both smelling and looking) nails
2. Full House Cocktail Jar - £5, these seem to be VERY popular at the moment and this one is both pretty and reasonably priced so it's a win win!
3. Dinosaur Shaped Ruler - £2, Yes it's childish and yes you probably wouldn't use it all that much but LOOK HOW CUTE!!!
4. Rudolph 2 Colour Pen - £2.50, it's a kind of geeky awkward looking Rudolph, I would treasure this pen even after it stopped working.

Do you have any other shops you like to grab a bargain on? Let us know!
