Another post from my "Evolution of my Bullet Journal" series. This week I'm looking at my dailies. When I first started my bullet journal I didn't have a clue how I wanted my dailies to look, so for the first few months I tried out different designs sand different ways of organising my day to day life.
January
I started off in January tracking the weather and the high and low temperatures of the day. This was a chore and I didn't really care about it so it didn't last long. I also used the squares and circles to highlight tasks and events but I definitely made them a tad big!
February
I tried a new layout in February, I have to say I really didn't enjoy alternating which side of the page my day was on. Again I had very large circles and squares which are just ugly to look at.
March
I quite liked March's layout. It was quick and simple and I don't really feel like it was missing anything I needed.
April
This was the month I decided to start looking at where my hours were going every day. I started tracking them by colour coding my activities in the bar along the top.
May
I continued tracking my daily activities and also split my dailies into activities and to do's.
June
As you can see, by June I was getting fed up of doing the daily tracker and was tracking less and less. I also stopped splitting events from to do's.
July
Nothing much changed in July, this was also the month that I got into a bit of a planning slump. I think this is the only week of the month I properly did dailies.
August
August was a unique month as I was only at home for 8 days so daily tracking was out of the question. Once I was home and doing dailies again I decided that I wanted to go back to basics. I made my dailies as simple as I possibly could. And I love it.
September
I'm continuing as I ended August, simplistic and to the point. I am absolutely loving how simply it is. If it's an event and I went I tick it. If it's a to do I shade in the box before the task once I do it, or half shade if I started it or migrate it.
I think I'm finding my own unique groove in the bullet journal world.
What do you think?
