This Is Scotland // WANLOCKHEAD

 So it's been a while since I made a "This Is Scotland" post and since I went on a evening road trip this week and took a tonne of pictures I thought I would show some of them to you.

All About My Face | Face Theory

I am a sucker for trying different beauty regimes. And when I say sucker I mean, I ridiculously over spend because I never stick to one thing and try it out for so long.

I recently saw an ad pop up on my Facebook for this company called "Face Theory".  I'm never one to be drawn in to Facebook ads but something about this just caught my attention.

I did some researching about the company - y'know, making sure they're legit - and found that people who had used the skincare brand all seemed to really love it.

I'm trying my absolute best to stick with just this as my cleansing and moisturizing routine. Not trying to put too much on my skin, keep it fresh.

And oh my days!!! This stuff is completely saving my skin and clearing all my break outs.

I started the routine a couple weeks ago and within the first week I started noticing results. It's the best my skin has looked in a LONG time.

Collections #2 // Bullet Journal

So the second 'collection' from my bullet journal are my spreads for films I want to see and books I want to read. I have two spreads for this one.

The first is my over all books and films spread.

The second is my summer books and films.

Feminism // Opinions

Feminism. Is it just me or do people flinch when you say that word? It gets a similar reaction to a swear word, sometimes even a worse reaction. Why is the idea of woman wanting to be equal to men something to flinch at?

How-To // Long Lasting Lipstick

I'm back!! I'm just going to keep popping up around here because Kate is a bit of a bully (please don't hit me for that K). Like my big sister, I'm a big lipstick fan. Also like Kate, I need something that will stay all day because if I'm actually putting makeup on I'm either going to university, going out or really really bored. So I search for long lasting lip products and I have found some gems. However, I have also perfected the application process to maximise the staying power, if I do say so myself.

Collections #1 // Bullet Journal

Something that is 'big' in the Bullet Journal community are collections. And by collections we mean something which isn't for daily, weekly or monthly use but is something we will constantly flick back to as we use our bullet journal. I thought it would be good to show you all some of the collections or spreads I have in my bullet journal.

Bullet Journal // July Set Up

 Well it's officially the summer, not that you would guess it from the weather here in Scotland! July is already a week in and I'm only just getting round to doing my set up blog post, sorry! But not much as changed and if you are inspired then save the inspiration for next month!

June // Monthly Review

June.

1. Write a little sum up of the day, a prayer and a word or feeling of the day in a notebook. Every day. - I don't think I've done this at all this month. I also don't think I'm going to try and do it July, it was really useful at the beginning of the year but I think it's usefulness has come to an end. We shall see!

2. Get healthier - When I'm not eating out I've done pretty well this month. The snacking has definitely been better this month. I have however eaten out so many times this month, it's almost sickening. July will be better, I promise.

Strawberry Picking | Birthday Celebrations

It was my birthday a couple days ago. I turned the ripe old age of 23, booooo.

I normally spend my birthday with my parents and brother but this year was slightly different as everyone was working. I mean, how dare they.

So, on my birthday myself, Kate and our friend Kieran - he loves a little girl time - went to Craigie's Farm in South Queensferry for breakfast and to pick some strawberries and raspberries. It was amazing, and I have so many pictures to share.

But first, let me just go into what we did the day before.

We went trampolining. Yes, we are massive kids but going to an indoor trampoline park with six of your friends for your 23rd birthday is actually pretty cool. The one we went to was called AirSpace in East Kilbride, Glasgow. It's so much fun. We're all very sore today but it was so worth it!

We then went for a lovely meal in the town I stay in.

Perfect day.

Book Haul // What I'm Reading

So I once again fell into the trap that is Waterstones bookshop and once again books flew off the shelf into my arms and I found myself at the checkout forking out money for some more books. Woops!

But since this disaster had already happened and the damage was done I figured I would show you what I picked up!
