Book Review // A Very Special Year by Thomas Montasser

So avid readers of this blog will remember a couple of weeks back I posted a book haul post. A Very Special Year by Thomas Montasser was one of those books and having finished it I thought I would tell you guys what I thought.

The Back of the Book
"It's not particularly difficult to run a successful bookshop, thought Valerie: a grasp of the rudiments of business, a sensible plan, a little skill in negotiation, a couple of contacts and a large portion of magic."

Rating
4/5

Review
If you like books about books then you'll like this book.
I really enjoyed this book and I didn't see the twist coming. If I'm honest I think I would have been happy with just a book about a woman trying to run a bookshop and meeting her customers, I didn't really need the magic storyline (although I bet some people would love it).

Favourite Quote
"What was extraordinary about a book was what was inside it"

Read any good books recently? I wanna know!
