New Music | May

If I could write about new music this month it would be about Ariana Grande's new album 'Dangerous Woman'. It is seriously the greatest album of the year! I love her voice and her style and I was SO excited when her album dropped - Kate will agree, I was way too over excited.

However, I guess I should show some diversity and speak about people other than Ariana (but I will throw in two of Ariana's song because she's so great)

Here's my top 5:

1. Greedy | Ariana Grande

Music to my ears. This has a funky upbeat tempo with catchy vocals. It has a real 90s vibe to it, just a truly amazing song. Oh, and the key change at the end ... gold. Just pure gold.

2. Me and My Girls | Selena Gomez

I suppose this isn't actually a "new song" however, I recently discovered it and fell in love. Another one with a catchy upbeat tempo. It's a very "moroccan" sounding song - is that right? I don't know if that's even a good description. Anyway, this song is about sticking with your girls no matter what. Go girl power!

3. Love Myself | Hailee Steinfeld 

Okay, let's just clear something up. This song apparently has two meanings. The first, female empowerment, loving who you are. The second, let's not tip-toe around the subject, basically, female masturbation. The lyrics are very suggestive, don't get me wrong. I, personally, don't listen to the song because of the lyrics, I genuinely just like the tune. Give it a listen, it's a catchy one!

4. Don't Fail Me Now | Saint Raymond

This song sound very different from the rest. It's more acoustic-pop. Kate is the one that got me listening to it. The chorus is pretty catchy. A very good song to sing-a-long too.

5. Leave Me Lonely | Ariana Grande ft. Macy Gray

Oh, this song! It makes me want Macy Gray or even Ariana Grande to do a Bond song. In fact, this song could probably be a Bond song. It's that good. Another one that is very fun to sing-a-long to.
